It has been so long since I have written or visited this site. So much has changed. The travelinggypsies lost a key member of the team when Mike passed away in July 2020. Losing Mike and facing the isolation of COVID have turned me into a hibernating hermit. I am planning to travel again, and I am checking out this site to see if anyone is reading it anymore. After 23 years of marriage that involved raising five children, managing two careers and having one heart transplant we decided to hit the road and explore. We created this blog to share our discoveries and keep in touch with beloved family and friends as we wander the world. Please check in on our progress, leave us advice and notes of encouragement and let us know what is happening with all the important people we left behind.
